Recurring Billing
Setting up recurring billing for a customer
Create a plan once for a gym membership, tuition fee, or any repeating charge — weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or fully custom.
Before you start
A recurring billing plan is for any customer you bill on a repeating cycle instead of once — a gym or training membership, tuition fees, a monthly mess or tiffin subscription, even a weekly pigmy or chit collection. Set it up once, and WatCoreLite tells you exactly when it's time to bill them again.
Creating a plan
From Recurring Billing, click Add Recurring Billing. Pick the customer, the product or service they're being billed for, and a default amount — pre-filled from the catalog price, but you can adjust it (a grandfathered rate for a long-time member, for instance).
Any cadence you actually need
Four one-click presets cover the common cases — Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly — or pick Custom for any "every N days, weeks, months, or years" pattern. That one mechanism handles a monthly gym membership and a 10-day pigmy collection equally well.
Start date and first due date
The first due date defaults to the start date, but they're independently editable — useful when a customer already paid their first month in cash and you're just recording the plan going forward, with the next due date set to the month after.
Amount stays flexible per invoice
The plan's amount is only ever a default. When you actually bill from it, the invoice screen opens pre-filled but fully editable — so a member who only attended half the month can be billed half price, with nothing extra to configure.
Once it's set up, see Finding and billing overdue customers for the part that actually saves you time every month.
