How it actually works
Set up a plan once
Pick the customer, the product or service they're billed for, and an amount — pre-filled from your catalog, but adjustable per customer (a grandfathered rate for a long-time member, say).
Choose any cadence you actually need
Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly with a single click — or Custom for any "every N days, weeks, months, or years" pattern. A monthly gym membership and a 10-day pigmy collection both just work.
WatCoreLite tracks the due date for you
The Due list shows every plan that's due or overdue — nobody else. The same count shows up as a Renewals Due card the moment you open the app.
Bill in one click
Click Create Invoice next to anyone on the Due list and it opens a normal invoice, already filled in with their product/service and the plan's amount — edit anything before saving.
The due date only moves once they've actually paid
Finalizing an invoice isn't enough — only a real payment clears it. Miss two cycles and pay once, and you're still correctly shown as owed the second. Nothing is ever silently forgiven.
Pause, cancel, or correct by hand, any time
Someone on a break? Pause their plan. Left for good? Cancel it — their invoice history stays. The next due date is always directly editable too, for a payment taken outside the app.
Missed a cycle? It stays honest.
If a customer falls behind and pays once, only that one cycle clears — the next due date advances by a single cycle from where it was, not all the way to today. Software that silently forgives a missed month just because one payment came in would be doing your business a disservice. WatCoreLite never does that.
Common questions
Can I bill weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly?
Yes — four one-click presets cover Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly, or you can pick Custom for any "every N days/weeks/months/years" pattern.
What happens if a customer misses a payment?
They simply stay on the Due list. The plan's next due date only advances once a real payment is recorded against an invoice from that plan — never just because time passed or an invoice was created.
Can I pause a membership instead of canceling it?
Yes. Pausing a plan stops it from appearing as due, without losing any history. Canceling keeps the full invoice history too — nothing is ever deleted.
Do I need the Products & Services module for this?
Yes — a recurring billing plan always bills a specific product or service (like "Monthly Membership"), so that catalog module needs to be turned on too. Both are free to enable in Settings.
Does this replace a full accounting system?
